About this speaker
Delphi received her undergraduate degree from UTMB at Galveston in Health Care Administration and her Master of Social Work from The University of Houston. Her career in the addictions and mental health field began in 1994. She became interested in employee assistance program work in 2005 and pursued her higher education so she could attain employment in the EAP field. She has been employed w/ UT Health Houston since August 2010 as the Senior EAP Account Representative/EAP Counselor. Delphi specializes in behavioral addictions and has extensive experience in chemical addictions. She began private practice in 2016 and assisted Daring Ventures becoming launched where she is still affiliated today. She has been trained by well known professionals in the addiction field such as Patrick Carnes, Pia Mellody, Rob Weiss, & Terence Real. She loves working with individuals, couples, & families in educating them on addictions; family of origin issues; trauma. Her private practice specializes working w/ couples in the approaches for Gottman Method; EFT: Emotion Focused Therapy; PACT: Psychobiological Approach for Couples Therapy. She just recently obtained her Certified Psychedelic Assisted Therapist Provider certification from Integrative Psychiatry Institute in November 2023 as another tool in her storm kit to help individuals w/ trauma related issues.
