Joanna Raabsmith LMFT, CCPS, CPTT
About this speaker
Joanna is a licensed clinician, speaker, and author. She earned two graduate degrees from Fuller Theological Seminary, a Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy and a Masters of Divinity. She is trained in Restoration Therapy, EMDR, and the multidimensional partner trauma model through APSATS. She helped develop the RelateStrong Curriculum with Pepperdine's Boone Center for the Family, and is helping develop the Restoration Coaching Certification. As a co-founder of the Raabsmith Team, she focuses on bringing healing in the lives of her clients as they face issues such as anxiety, trauma, and addiction. She has also had many opportunities to train other professionals through organizations such as the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals and the Christian Sex Addiction Specialists International. She serves on the board of Christian Sex-Eduction Specialist International, a non-profit that trains clinicians to work family systems affected by the effect of addiction and infidelity. Most recently she co-authored the new book, Building True Intimacy: Creating a Connection that Stands the Test of Time.
