About this Talk
Louisa May Alcott said: "I am not afraid of storms for I am learning how to sail my ship."
There is no greater or surer way to be able to come out of one storm, and NOT be afraid of the next one - and that is by knowing that you trust YOURSELF. Knowing you have done the work to know who you truly are; to allow that self-acceptance to grow into truly loving yourself; and to step boldly into trusting yourself, whatever comes your way.
This, to me, ties into what I call my trifecta: understanding and recognizing gaslighting - ESPECIALLY the internalized or "self-gaslighting"; knowing and being connected to your authentic core values; knowing, honoring and "enforcing" your limits (aka boundaries).
In my interview, I'd love to share a few examples of how clients have done this work and the successes they've had, as well as a few tips on how to dive into work in these three areas - with the bulk of my interview discussing the importance of recognizing "internalized gaslighting"/self-gaslighting.
